10u Cobras Weekly Update

The 10u improved their record to 33 and 2.

We played in the Capital Cup where we finished pool play 2 and 0 yet still ended up with the 7 seed and had to compete again Saturday Night. We defeated Southern Ohio Storm to advance to Sunday. Sunday we defeated Ohio Sharks. Next we faced a tough Northern Kentucky. We took the lead 1-0 early only to get to the 6th inning down 3 -2. We were able to drive in one run to advance to extra innings but came up short in the 8th inning 4 to 3.

Back in action Tuesday for first ODU game and then Friday in the Dublin Wayne Williams

10u Cobras Weekly Update

The 10u Cobras won their 5th tournament in a row by winning the Coaches Against MM in a pool of 19 teams. Cobras had a 7-7 tie in pool play which placed them 7 seed.

It was a tough battle back needing to beat three teams on Sunday to seal the Championship! Braden Quincel pitched a complete game against the Colts striking out 11 and allowing only 1 walk. Cobras defeated Ohio Valley Vipers in the championship 11 to 7. Cobras improved their record to 26 -1. Cobras are back in action next weekend at the Capital Cup.

Coaches Against MM Tournament

The 8u, 9u, 10u, 11u and 12u Cobras will all be participating in the Coaches Against MM Tournament this weekend at Berliner Park. The tournament raises funds to fight and find a cure for Multiple Myeloma and Amyloidosis, which is a rare blood cancer and disease.
