The 13U Cobras went 3-0 over the weekend, winning the Full-Tilt 14U Pre-Season Tournament held at Home Run Park in Kenton, OH.  The Cobras outscored their opponents 27-8 in their three bracket play games.  Picking up wins on the mound over the weekend was Tyler Lumbard (which was a 1-hit 6-0 shutout over the South Farmington Blues 14U out of Michigan), Jake Miller (in relief of Peyton Weiss that included a dominant 2 2/3 inning where he struck out 7/8 batters he faced in a 12-3 come-from-behind win over Full-Tilt 14U) & Matt Wolfe (where he went 4inn pitched of 1-hit shutout baseball in a 9-5 win over the Macomb Muckdogs Baseball Academy 14U out of Michigan).  At the plate, Peyton Weiss led the offensive attack with 6 hits, 2 doubles & a .857 average while driving in 4 runs.  Kaleb Schaffer supported the attack hitting a .657 over the weekend while driving in 3 runs.  Matt Wolfe & Braydon Chilcote had 4 hits each. Paxton Schwandt swiped 11 bases & scored 7 runs.  The 13U team now stand at 8-0 and will play two weekday games this week on Tuesday at Upper Arlington and Thursday at Gahanna against the Midwest Prospects.
