Last week the 9U Cobras played at the NCS Raiders & won 17-2.  Danny Collier picked up the win, while Logan Moore & Tyler Lumbard pitched in relief. Tyler Lumbard included a 2-run HR over the fence!

Over the weekend, the 9U Cobras took 2nd place at the Nations Coaches Against MM Tournament at Berliner Park.  After coasting thru pool play on Saturday by beating the Dublin Green Sox 17-2 & Ohio Valley Mudcats 7-1, they earned #1 seed for Sunday's bracket play.  Kaleb Schaffer & Blake Jodrey picked up the win.  CJ Holt picked up a inside the park HR in each if the two pool play games.

In Sunday's bracket play, they beat the Warren Co Wolfpack 9-1 & then beat the Fairfield Co Bulldogs 8-1 to set themselves up for a rematch against the Ohio Elite in the finals.  After leading thru 3inn, the Elite's bats took fire & took the lead in the top of 4th inning.  The margin was too much to overcome & the 9U Cobras had to settle for 2nd place with a 14-6 loss to the Elite.

Danny Collier & Logan Moore picked up wins against the Wolfpack & Bulldogs.  Jackson Ware suffered his first loss of the season against the Ohio Elite.  The 9U Cobras now have an overall record of 28-2.

The 9U Cobras play this Wednesday at the Columbus Sharks-Silver, and will compete in the USSSA 7-UP Capital Cup Championship at Berliner this weekend starting pool play on Saturday morning against the Cincinnati Stix at 8am & then the Lancaster Surge at 12:30pm.
