Former Cobra stars in first professional season

Matt Wisler, former Columbus Cobra, starred in his first professional season as a pitcher for the Fort Wayne Tin Caps.  Matt finished as the team's top pitcher.  His 2.53 earned run average was third best in the Class A Midwest League.  He also struck out 113 batters.

Wisler played for the Cobras for two seasons with the 17 and 18 year old teams.  He compiled an 11-1 record with an 0.84 ERA and struck out 128 batters in 83 innings.
