The 11U Columbus Cobras went 5-0 over the weekend at the USSSA King of Swing Qualifier at Berliner Park in Columbus, OH.  They earned the #1 seed by sweeping their opponents in pool play on Saturday by a combined score of 26-1.  In bracket play on Sunday, they beat the Pickerington Big Katz in the Quarter Final 9-3 to set up a match against the Ohio Elite.  The 11U Cobras opened up with a 5-1 lead after the first inning & held on to win 5-2 to earn their way to the Finals against the Fairfield Co. Bulldogs.  The Bulldogs went up 4-2 in the top of the 4th inning, but the 11U Cobras would score 4 runs of their own in the bottom half of the inning to take a 6-4 lead. From there, they would hold on for a 7-5 victory to earn their first championship of 2015.
